Olivia Martin
I am a JD/PhD candidate in Economics at Stanford Law School. My research asks how public-law institutions can deliver essential goods and services—housing, safety-net programs, public safety—more effectively while protecting due-process values like accuracy, transparency, and accountability. Across projects, I combine causal inference with large-scale administrative records, text data, and large language models.
My work is supported by the Knight Hennessy Scholars Program, the John M. Olin Program in Law and Economics, Arnold Ventures, and the Stanford Impact Labs.
